Just kinda thought it might be nice to have a little place where people who have seen the movie can go ahead and talk about it? Obviously, there WILL be spoilers here... so yeah ^^ So, any thoughts? I'll start from the start! Did anyone else think it was really awesome that they opened it kinda the same? Hit the lady with a banana that turned out to be a Bananostrich, and then "Another film by... A lot of people" AND ALL THE PORTAL COLORS!!! OMIGOSH!!!!! And did anyone else catch how Flint was "re-applying" his Spray on Shoes? That confused me a litte... And where did the coat of Spray on Shoes on the go...? There was so much beautiful animation I wasn't sure where to look at times... did I miss something? o.o

Oh yeah, I remember that. I loved the Grocery Deliverator because Portal is boss. With the Spray on Shoes I'm assuming he found a way to get it off, there's another thread about maybe him being able to destroy it and reapplies it because that's Flint. The whole thing with the is kind of sketchy, because there is no way it could have survived.

I was hoping they would do the thing at the begining with the Columbia lady, and they did! I loved all those little references to the first movie. As for the spray on shoes, I have no idea why Flint was re-applying them. Maybe after years of wearing them they started to get all scratched and he just put on a new coat to make them shiny? As for the , maybe it was the explosion that took it off?

I just figured that Flint wanted to make his shoes look nice or something. But what am I doing here, I haven't seen the movie yet! XD

I loved the . in the begining it was just "I'm here to troll you into the second movie!" then, when you obviously learned who the badguy was which I dubed him "yoga man" but when flitn was gonna put the flash drive into it, and it was all like "Oh hi flint... it was lonely... so I made.. well here let me show you..." That marshmellow was the cutest thing I had ever seen.... was forever alone... until it made it so it wasn't. just... the feels. and what is with vests? it's summer on the shoulder and winter on the torso? and was I the only one to notice that somehow the destroyed sardine land statue was there? and why where the foodanimals trying to learn to swim if there were submarine sandwiches?

As to your headcanons, fldsmdfrfox, I agree completely! Don't know about that statue, though - maybe the Foodimals found its remains? As for the Sub Whales - I just figured Chester V never saw them, since he was more worried about the Cheespiders than anything else. :/

Did anybody understand that one moment where an illustration of a hot dog literally leaps off the brick wall? O.o

Yeah, I think it was one of those "mascot" characters. Like the pizza. For what it's worth, I was confused a little too. As for what it was doing, maybe word had spread about the invasion and the Foodimals were hiding?

as was it noticed that EVIL used many of flints inventions the entire movie? also, don't knwo if you ever played any of the old spongebob ps2 games, but the battle for bikini bottom had levels devoted to underpants bungee jumping.... not really a solid refrence but it made me think of it

Ok so I was wrong about Barry being the villian But I WAS correct about Chester v. When i saw him reveal himself as the bad guy i screamed in the theatre "I WAS RIGHT!" It was embarrassing..... One thing...Movies that show an obvouse villian arent.....suspensful. They should of never shown Chester all suspicious when Flint left the island. Second...It was too similar to Avatar, but with food, although I cnt judge since the first was a parody of famous disaster films. Plus, Barry translating Foodimalian was CUTE...or is it gibberish? ? Third, i loved how the movie began like the first with the bananostritch and the "Another film by a lot of people." Did anyone noticed Max Newirth (young Flint) doesnt do little Flint? The different voice bugged me. But what really bugs me is that you STILL dont find out how Flint's mother died! I demand a third film! Fourth, did anyone see the mini scene after the end credits where Barb asks Steve out for a date? Fifth, if u notice, Flint is the kind of guy who gets easily manipulated. The mayor did it and so did Chester. Sam is bound to break up with Flint just because of that -_- Plus the mayor never shows up. And Sixth, in six monyhs how did all those new jungle trees get there so fast? How did Flints lab get that high off the ground while being filled with electric water? Flint obvously CANT swim, he looks wierd with wet hair, and according to his underwear his favorite color MUST be purple...

Can't argue with you there, although it IS kinda funny to see a villain love his dirty work under the guise of being a Walt Disney + Steve Jobs idol. 2. While I do see it following the same "cutsie environment vs evil corporation" I normally despise in film, unlike Avatar, the Foodimals and their habitats were nothing short of creative, and believable as characters. Plus, Live Corp itself isn't bad, its just run by a bad boss. Ya gotta admit, it is a genuinely cool place on its own, and it is capable of being even better if it had a less evil boss. XP 3. I agree with you on both fronts, although I'm a bit unsure about a CwacoM 3, since the 2nd one had mixed results. Unless they can make it utterly spectacular like the first film, they should preserve a good legacy before a bad sequel ruins it, like it did with Shrek. 4. Yep! ^^ 5. I doubt that. Maybe Flint's finally learned his lesson by now since he cherishes his loved ones even more, and will now take extra precautions to make sure he's not manipulated by another untrustworthy figure. As long as he sticks around with his friends, which he'll do more than ever now, he should be good. And eventually he might pop the question to Sam... :3 As for the mayor, I think it's safe to say he drowned or got eaten during his failed escape, if he didn't die of a heart attack first from all that fat 6. Maybe the provided some of those trees, too? We saw the flowers and smaller plants wilt as soon as Chester took the . And maybe a tree branch is holding up the lab higher up? We saw a giant tree grow through the rest of Flint's house. And yeah, Flint can't swim, but he probably hit his head on some rock candy, too. And I thought his undies were blue, not that I'm lingering too much on that subject XP Just me two cents. Don't take any of my feedback personally!

Haven't seen Avatar. 3. That made me feel so good! It was like a shoutout. 4. My parents wouldn't let me stay for the credits. 5. That's part of Flint's personality, but I think Sam will love him regardless. 6. Mutant trees? The breaking of the dam "mount leftovers" probably caused some serious upheaval.

The beginning was really nice and nostalgic, but when it opened up after the recap, the writing was really awkward. Like fake people... a dream scenario. It didn't feel right.
I think the reason why Flint got Steve and gave him a translator is because he wanted to be just like Chester V: with a talking primate partner. (Also: cuteness points for that one poster, in the apartment, of Chester holding Barb)
As for the clip after the main credits with Barb and Steve, I was like: "Oh no, honey, don't you make this a canon ship because I do not want to ship this." I really hope people don't ship them. They are obviously not on the same level and Barb would know that.
really notable thing: that Wilhelm Scream was astounding and awesome. Like, the real definition of awesome. Inducing a lot of awe. I have LOT more favorite/notable parts, but I'm not sure if it's okay to throw all eleven of them here,
but HONESTLY THE TOMATO WAS MY FAVORITE FOODIMAL. It qualifies as one because it's sentient.

I liked the animation of the film a lot. I also really liked the beginning, since it reminded me of the first film. I got confused by the bananostritch, though, because it made dolphin noises, but it also had legs. idk, can someone help me out with that part? I do have to say that I didn't like how Chester V got revealed very early in the movie as evil. I would've liked to have had a few scenes with us not knowing about that.

The second movie was amazing. THec olors were awesome. The characters were just like in the first movie. Although I was irritated that Max Neuwirth wasn't little Flint, THe movie was one of the best. So, third movie? Definately. Flint re-applying his spray on shoes. That was probably to make them shiny. AH...can't remember anything else. So...uh...what was your favorite part of the movie?
