Yep! ^_^ Don't have it myself; I got it from a Public Library, and it had to go back. Also, it's nice to meet you, H3BO3 (I think that's Hydroboric Acid, or is it just Boric Acid?)!

Wanted something that was science-y and simple. And I'll check our library for that book... I may finally get those labels.

OFFICIAL THREAD POST #2
Okay, looking back on my previous plans, I'm thinking of bringing the realism factor on the machine down a little, as well as redesigning the internal frame. This will save me time and money, but I'll still try to make it LOOK as real as possible. Things that I will change include:
-Most controls will be static and non-functional -Frame will be made of wood instead of metal, except for the legs, which will remain metal

Cool! And yeah, it helps to be economic sometimes. Sometimes realism just can't happen. ^_^ As to the labels, you need to either squint or use a magnifying glass. It's readable, just very small print.

That makes sense. To have a structure with that degree of realism would be very expensive, not to mention the tools needed to craft it.

since CWACOMB2 came out they have some really good top shots of the . Also don;t forget they added a USB port to the Front of the body above the far right blue button. I would really love to help with this... or even pay to have one made. Thanks for the dimensions too. Try using google schetup it really helps with this kinda thing. I'll post a Google sketch up version of the on here soon.

They probably have more design sketches for the in the CWACOM2 Art book, too. Haven't gotten to see that yet, though.

Me neither, but I believe the designs are a little different between movies. Just looking at the general form of it and such.
Remind me: is this going to have lights or not?

Eight years later update post? Sure, why not. Turns out making replicas as 3D models is a lot simpler, as I'm not constrained by size, realism, or function, and I can make things much more accurate. I have a Twitter and I post things to it sometimes, including my most recent project. I've done lots in the meantime that I haven't posted though. Perhaps I'll return to the project as a 3D model someday!
