Flint lives in his lab? If you notice thta while he is thinking about what to do for an "activity" he is sitting on his bed. This is the same bed he had as a child in his house. Has Flint just moved his bedand now lives in HIS LAB? If so how or why do you think he did that? Talk about how Flint made his lab. Anything about him or his lab you observe. Attachments:

since his relationship to his father seems kinda awkward, i would guess he moved up there, because he felt more comfortable between all his inventing stuff ...? maybe.^^
as for the lab itself ... i'm still wondering where in the world he has gotten that bus and how he did get it up there?! x)

I think that for Flint is more comfortable to live in his lab. It is his own world and place when he feels himself safety and rest. Furthermore, all his scientific stuff is placed here.

I noticed that when I read the book on the art and making of CWACOM, and yes, I do think that Flint lives in his lab. XD

Where did that bus come from?!?!?!! NO ONE KNOWS... Anyway his hallway is made out of old eggcartons and his hand scanner/door is a shower cutain. Any other observations. BTW he has a Simon that he pushes in a "code" to leave. HILARIOUS!

Hehe, I think it's very sweet that Flint lives in his lab. Justifying it is all down to your own opinion of him, I guess. I think he moved into his lab so he could escape into his little fantasy made reality world. As the rest of the town doesn't really understand him, it can be tiring for him to get his point across, and I know if I were him, I would get very frustrated. I think his lab offers him a place of comfort. It's very spacious, allowing him to think freely, unlike the other buildings of the town, which are very square and drab.

He probably moved his bed up there so he could keep working on his inventions until he got tired and then go straight to sleep. Plus, in the morning he can go straight back to inventing again.

I think that he lives and sleeps in his lab, but eats and showers and such in his dads house. But when he gets married (to me most likely haha) Id love to live in his lab, made hed add on if he had family to take care of? (like a kitchen, bathroom, ect.)

I suppose there is always room to expand, considering he's basically built the lab in the air. If not outwards, there's always upwards. However, I think that one of the reasons that Flint may have moved into his lab in the first place is that he wanted to escape all of that domestic stuff. His lab is futuristic, almost impossible in reality and has broken the mould of the 'usual' in Swallow Falls. If Flint started adding more domestic rooms to his lab, would he be taking away that original crazy design?
