"If you believe in your dreams, I will prove to you, that you can achieve your dreams just by working hard." It's been a while guys, but I wanted to drop by and say, that after 5 years of being a registered member on this forum, I have achieved my dream of becoming a Vertebrate Palaeontologist. I've spent a month in the US digging up dinosaurs, and am writing a project on the taphonomy of a new species of sauropod. I also had the chance to present at a Dinosaur convention as a member of the Dino Lab team. Pictured above: Myself excavating a sauropod rib fragment! Please excuse horrendous photos, digging is dirty, sweaty work, and my hair does not cooperate in hot weather! Don't give up your dreams, because with hard work and determination, you can make them come true! I hope you're all pursuing your dreams with the passion they deserve!

You are amazingly wonderful, Lem (or is that wonderfully amazing?)! ^_^ We are all in awe of your success, and hopefully, someday, we'll be able to replicate it. *Optional!Hugs*

Thanks so much! It's been hard work but ohmygoodness it was so worth it! Spent my last day in the quarry today, uncovered some dorsal vertebrae and another rib! Don't let anyone tell you your dreams are unachievable, you're all capable of reaching them!!

LEM?! let me cry tears of joy until i'm reduced to a gooey puddle on the floor! the photo is beautiful, look at this smile, you seem SO HAPPY, you're practically GLOWING! sorry if this sounds odd or something, but i'm just so happy right now, to hear from you after all this time, and to know that you still care enough about this forum to come back and tell us of your achievement.
WHICH IS AMAZING BY THE WAY! CONGRATULATIONS, i would hug the life out of you if i could (and if i was allowed to) (i mean, i would let the life back in eventually).
i hope being a Vertebrate Palaeontologist is like you dreamt it to be, i'm so happy that you made it! let me know if you plan to dig out dinosours in germany someday~. ;D

That is fantastic! It's awesome to see someone doing something they truly love (and you will probably be writing scientific papers and winning awards sometime soon). Congratulations!
When you went to US, were you over in like South Dakota or Wyoming, sort of hotspots for fossils?
