So, the Christmas month is fast approaching, and here in the UK we've already got Christmas songs blasting out of our radios! So, what have we all got planned for the festive season this year? And what will we be asking Father Christmas for? My boyfriend and I will be cooking a festive roast duck for a small family gathering this year, and possibly decorating the flat if we have enough money! I'm also planning a Pokémon Christmas Social for the Pokémon Society at University! As for my wishlist to Mr. C, all I want for Christmas is to spend it with my loved ones!

Ooooo, I'm making my boyfriend a Wonderbolts hoodie! And I hope I can keep my job at least through Christmas.... thanks to Christmas shopping my credit card bill is HUGE! But they seem to want to get rid of me! Ah well... they can't get rid of me without a legitimate reason, right? I'm not hoping for any presents specifically, but I just love it when people make some for me! I also hope I can spend Christmas with my extended family as well and hope my dad won't mess it up. (u v u)

I've been excited for Christmas this year, especially since it's close to my b-day and I'm going to be turning 16 this year! ;D I really don't have much on my list besides a few DVD's, books, and a videogame, but I think I may come up with a few new things soon.

Hm, well my mom decided that we should have a humble Christmas this year, so without the extravagant gift-giving like we've done pretty darn traditionally for the past 15 years haha But I'm okay with it. There isn't anything I really want in particular and Christmas is Jesus' birth, so we'll be focusing much on that this year. Of course, my brother objects and it is getting VERY annoying T_T"

Ahh, not long now, folks! How festive is your hometown looking as the countdown continues?
Ooh, Miss Batty, are you and your boyfriend fans of MLP? I love that show! Used to be very involved with the Brony community! I'd love to see progress shots of the hoodie, I bet it will be fantastic!
I hope your birthday is awesome, FS5! 16, eh? Getting old now! Although you're making me feel even older!
And Rainbow, that sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas. I love the idea! Hopefully your brother will warm up to the idea soon!

I haven't been nearly as excited for Christmas as I usally feel, I mean... it doesn't feel like it's less than two weeks away... There's not much I want this year either, I mean I still made a list and whatever. Mostly put Portal stuff I guess I do really, really, want a plushie companion cube! I know it sounds childish, but seriously my life will be pretty much complete once I have a companion cube ^^ And to all of you, Merry post-apocolyptic Christmas! (jk jk, people thought the world was gonna end this year on Dec 21, but now they found more calender anyway, so we're all good now XD)

@argion: That would be the awesomest thing EVER!
Anyway, Christmas. I have always LOVED this holiday. Although, like GG said, to me it feels less exciting. I guess it's because I'm older. :/ But I'm still gonna enjoy it as much as I can!
As for gifts, I don't really want that much. The only big expensive gifts I might be getting are the Wreck-it Ralph art book, a blu-ray copy of ParaNorman, and maybe some random art supplies.

Yesterday morning my family and I ate breakfast together (well, I ate breakfast later because I was working on last-minute Christmas presents for some friends) and we read some passages from the Bible. And suddenly, my parents are like, "Why don't you check your stockings?" So we go and check and there are pieces of paper in the stockings, telling us where to go to find the next clue and sometimes some Bible verses that we had to look up for good clues. So with much searching, I got a new printer/scanner (All to myself! ), a weighted hula hoop (Which I've been wanting for a really long time), money from our Grandparents, and a new backpack! So we really did get presents in the end ^^ And I think this was one of the most memorable Christmas' I've ever had.

you got the portal cookie cutters? lucky...
i didn't get any portal stuff, my mom still thinks video games are the root of all evil. however, my dad found their old nintendo in the basement. we set it up, and my mom just spent like an hour playing the original super mario bros and tetris.
I got the deadmau5 headphones from beatport. (i'm using them now) They're really great!

Pffttt... Oh Argion... I got so much more than the cookie cutters.. Portal earrings, Portal bookends, Portal gun, Portal Cookie cutters, Portal Turret Plushie, and of course my companion cube plushie... (great now I sould like I'm bragging or something... wasn't trying to! Just really excited cause I'm obsessed)
I feel for you though, my Mom isn't really fond of video games either, but at least my dad loves them! Funny enough though we just got Super Mario Bros for the Wii. It's my first time playing... I stink at it XD Sadly though, since we're moving in a couple of weeks... my Dad packed up ALL of our video games in a box Q~Q No Portal 2... for weeks?! *dies*
