I love birds, I just have too long of a list to pick favorites. But I do love my sweet budgies They are also known as parakeets. I've owned 4 so far, Sky, Ivan(Ivy?), Sonny, and Chance. We had Sky and Ivan first. Sky tended to try to bite your fingers off whenever you held her, but it mostly tickled and I loved her anyway. She was named because she looked like a sky, blue, white, and grey. We were never quite sure whether Ivan was a boy or a girl. At first we had named him Ivy because we thought he was a girl, and he was green. We later changed it to Ivan, because he it was the closest guy name to Ivy. He was soooo sweet, he was pretty timid, but after you were holding him he'd stay with you. We got Sonny when Sky died, so Ivan wouldn't be lonely. He's a very sweet little birdie, but it's impossible to hold him for to long without him flying around the house. He was named because he's the color of a sunny beach. We got Chance after Ivan died too, for the same reason. We named him Chance because the first thing he did when we took him home was take a chance flying at the wall. Poor baby! (I also secretly wanted to call him Chance after CWACOM ) It was either that, or Wally... He's pretty sweet though, but like Sonny he LOVES to fly around the house. Now we have a little joke that we have Sonny with a Chance. And now I just wasted your time talking about all my pretty birdies. I do still wish I could have a Gerbikeet though... *daydreams*

All I ever see in my backyard over the coarse of a year are those annoying black birds (not crows), and a few hummingbirds. But I swear to god, THAT'S ALL I SEE.

I always see little songbirds like black-capped chickadees, or some mourning doves, and occasionally the cardinal or blue jay. And when we're out driving big birds of prey or scavengers sit on the powerlines. I wanna see an OWL though!!! Oh goodness, they're so fluffy!! They're my favorite!!!!

You can actually see Hawks and/or Falcons and/or owls ALL THE TIME AND ANYWHERE if u looked hard enough. Me....I'm bored if seeing the boring ole Red-Tailed Hawk and the food stealing Peragrine Falcon...and Barn Owls...I know where I can find both Barn and Great Horns. But i get bored of seeing them almost all the time...
What I REALLY want is to pet an owl.....
