ok people! I have started!
about the story:
The story begins just a few minutes after Sam's birth, on march 3, 1984, making her age in the actual CWACOM movie about 20 to 21 years; it ends right before the start of her role in CWACOM. This fan fiction is a biography/ fiction of Sam's life growing up as a toddler, kid, teen, and young adult. the different mysteries of her life will be explained in this story, from questions like "how did she find out she had peanut allergies?" to things like "when did her classmates start teasing her?". This biography will cover all of it.
Although the actual character and the basics of her life (explained in the movie) are revealed and copyrighted by Sony Animation, most of the ideas and story in this fannfic are my own ideas I made based on the facts given to us already in CWACOM.Sam Sparks: A Walk into a Weathergirl's mindPROLOGE: "intelligent eyes"It was a cold, rainy night in Upstate, New York. The clouds broiled in the blackness of the night, lightning leaping from them like tounges of fire. Rain and wind howled, bending trees to the point that they looked as if they were trying to kiss the very ground which gave them life. Hail pattered on everything it its path.
The storm was reaking havoc on many of the older homes. Flooding was monumental, and pretty much every building, if not destroyed, had been Damaged in one way or another.
Except for one building, which stood in the center of town. This was the newest building in the area, and it was the first building in the town to use a new type of concrete.
This building, standing twelve stories high, was the hospital. Yellow Light poured from its windows, giving one the impression that the sun had found refuge inside, away from the eerie winds.
The place was currently the roof over 532 people, who were all oblivious to the outside weather. Men sipped coffee and read the NY times; women chatted about politics and family.
But on the third floor, a man's life (and perhaps life itself) was about to change.the man was in his late thirties, tall, with medium length red-blondish hair and Glasses that looked huge on his handsome thin face. All in all, he looked like he should look like: a scientist. Dr. Markus A. Sparks, an astronomer.
Mr. Sparks stood ouside of room C-23, in the "childbirth" area of the building. His wife, Martha sparks, had just hade her first baby. Markus, although he appeared calm, was restless to see his newborn daughter.
Finally, a nurse opened the door.
"you may come in, Dr. Sparks"
"thank you, madam" replied Mr. Sparks, and he moved into the room.
Sitting in a bed in the middle of the room, facing the door, was Mrs. Sparks, a smile on her face. The bundle of blankets in her arms flailed around excitedly, and appeared as if they wanted to jump on the floor and run around the room.
"dear" said Martha' "she's here" she showed her husband who was inside the blankets. A face, with two enormous eyes, stared up at them both. As the next clap of thunder shook the hospital, the child laughed with joy and reached out to the window.
"she's not scared a bit. She even seems to want to be IN that chaos, outside" remarked Martha.
"it's a sign" said Mr. Sparks. "A sign of the future. Curiosity."
"dear, we need a name!" cried Mrs. Sparks.
"by golly, your right!........ What about Lauren?"
Mrs. Sparks thought for a moment, then shook her head. "no. She doesn't seem like a Lauren.................. What about Samantha?"
"Samantha?" asked Mr. Sparks.
"Samantha Lauren Sparks. How about it?!"
Mr. Sparks regarded this, then nodded. "beautiful name. Sounds like the name of someone intelligent, which I'm sure she is going to be"
"yes, she will be. Just look at her intelligent eyes" sighed Mrs. Sparks.
A loud clap of thunder shook the building, and Sam screamed with joy.
"you're gonna do big things someday. I just know it" whispered Dr. Sparks.
