www.google.com/#q=CWACOM+3+movie+pilot
So I was browsing the web, ya know, searching for CWACOM stuff, when this link popped up. This is on google, so on the very first choice, it gives information on a possible CWACOM 3. This is what they said:
"A sequel to the 2009 surprise hit, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, was never a sure thing. The animated film was a hit with both audiences and critics. Not only that, the movie went to do huge business on home video, hence why we’re seeing Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 next week. The sequel returns to the world of Swallow Falls, with touches of King Kong, Jurassic Park, and, best of all, The Island of Doctor Moreau. While the first film was a riff on the disaster picture, the sequel heads into monster (food) movie territory.
Like the first film, there were plenty of ideas that didn’t make it into the final film, but dripped over into the sequel. The same could be the case for the third film: ”We had so many ideas we could make a 3, 4, 5, and 6 with them. There’s so many stories that be pursued on the island, but I don’t know if we’d return there. You could even go off and do a domesticated animal story at Live Corp,” said co-director Cody Cameron. “It’s hard to say if we’d stay in Swallow Falls.”
Asked about what some of those ideas were, co-director Kris Pearn elaborated, “There was a bit of a film noir thing, when we see [the talking ape] Barb take Flynn away from his apartment. Also, there was a sequence with this giant monster in this creme brulee glacier, but it turns out to be marsh mellows.” A little film noir would certainly be welcomed in the Cloudy series. If a third film was to happen, it would perhaps come about in a more organic way, like the first film did:
”Honestly, after the first film, a sequel wasn’t something we were talking about at the time. This was something we began talking about organically out of what the studio was feeling and working with [the first film’s directors] Phil [Lord] and Chris [Lord]. We’ll see what happens.”
A third picture will most likely happen. The first film is too beloved not to at least give the sequel a successful opening weekend. Let’s hope directors Kris Pearn and Cody Cameron get to revisit this living and breathing food world again in the coming years. Their passion is certainly there to make another Cloudy picture."
What do you think?
